About

Movements leading to emotions

I see movement as a fundamental element of life. My artistic practice seeks to capture the trace of movement and the emotions it evokes.

To create my sculptures, I work with white paper. Paper is not simply a material; it is an active participant in the creative process. Through its tensions, accidents, and tears, it guides the emergence of form. I do not try to anticipate the outcome of this collaboration. Gradually, the sculpture reveals what flows through it: momentum, hesitation, collapse, determination, resilience.

For me—and, I hope, for the viewer—these emotions are not the starting point of the sculpture; they are what is discovered through it.

I then enjoy creating dreamlike worlds by orchestrating these paper figures much like a conductor leading an orchestra.

My approach to ink drawing follows the same principles.

My personal understanding of movement has been shaped by a diverse professional journey. First graduated with a master ‘s degree in engineering, specializing in fluid mechanics, I spent ten years working in the oil&gas industry before moving abroad. I then worked for nine years as a commercial agent, introducing international toy brands to the Balkans and later to the Gulf countries. During this time, I designed large-scale visual installations for some of Dubai's leading shopping malls. I later became a Pilates instructor in Toronto, Canada, where I completed extensive training in the anatomy of movement.
